Our story
Built from real home improvement payment problems.
The idea for SafeBilled was conceived after the founder, Gerard Ferraioli witnessed how easily home improvement projects can go wrong. He knew homeowners who had been scammed by poorly vetted contractors, with some losing thousands of dollars on unfinished projects, poor workmanship, or fraud.
At the same time, Gerard knew contractors who completed quality work who were struggling with delayed, or non-payment issues.
That's why SafeBilled was created.
SafeBilled helps bridge the trust gap in home improvement projects by keeping project scope, milestone payments, homeowner reviews, and payment releases in one transparent, documented process. Homeowners gain greater confidence and visibility, while contractors have a professional way to demonstrate progress and get paid.
