Realtor Platform Agreement
This agreement governs realtor use of SafeBilled referral, invitation, project visibility, and client-support tools.
Realtor Role
SafeBilled allows realtors to refer homeowners and contractors into SafeBilled workflows and to view referral-related project activity made available through the platform.
A realtor is not the homeowner's payment approver, contractor's supervisor, SafeBilled's agent, or a manager of project funding, release, or dispute decisions unless SafeBilled expressly agrees in writing.
Eligibility and Account Information
Realtors must provide accurate name, brokerage, license, contact, referral, and validation information and must keep that information current.
SafeBilled may approve, deny, condition, suspend, or revoke realtor access for compliance, integrity, fraud-prevention, quality, or business reasons.
Client Consent and Accurate Referrals
Realtors must have appropriate permission before submitting a homeowner's or contractor's contact information, project information, or referral details to SafeBilled.
Realtors must not misrepresent SafeBilled's services, contractor availability, contractor credentials, project status, payment protections, or the realtor's authority over any homeowner, contractor, project, payment, or release decision.
No Payment Authority
Realtors do not control homeowner payment approval, contractor payout, dispute decisions, refunds, payment method selection, or project release instructions through SafeBilled.
Homeowners remain responsible for approving their own project agreements, funding decisions, milestone approvals, disputes, and releases.
Contractors remain responsible for their own bids, project agreements, performance, compliance, and payout onboarding.
Compliance
Realtors must comply with applicable real estate licensing, advertising, referral, agency, fiduciary, privacy, consumer-protection, anti-steering, and disclosure obligations.
SafeBilled does not provide legal, brokerage, agency, or real estate compliance advice. Realtors are responsible for understanding and following the laws and professional duties that apply to their activities.
Permitted Use
Realtors may use SafeBilled to invite clients or trusted contractors, view referral-related project information made available to them, and support clients in understanding SafeBilled's project agreement and protected payment workflow.
Realtors may not use SafeBilled project, homeowner, contractor, or payment information for unauthorized marketing, off-platform diversion, harassment, discrimination, or any purpose unrelated to authorized SafeBilled referral and project support.
No Guarantee
SafeBilled does not guarantee that a referral will become a project, that a contractor will bid or be selected, that a homeowner will fund a project, that a project will close successfully, or that any real estate transaction will occur.
Dispute Resolution
Before starting arbitration, the parties will attempt to resolve any dispute informally for thirty days after written notice.
If unresolved, the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, unless non-waivable law requires otherwise.
